College & Career
Aspire College and Career isn't just for students, it's for parents too! Our Career Center will be for students and parents. We will be offering resume writing and interviewing classes. We plan to partner with solid work from home opportunities and local businesses who are willing to create flexible schedules for homeschooling parents and students. Bottom line: we don't want anyone to choose NOT to home school because they need to help provide for their family! Working and homeschooling CAN BE DONE! We have lots of Aspire families DOING IT, and we want to support those that need or desire to work while homeschooling! The Career Center can also be used by dads or parents that may be looking to change careers, promote, or recover from a layoff.
Aspire Career Advisory will be for students that need help determining whether they should pursue a career, tech school, or college! We will offer assessment classes and also career sessions for non-college options. We also hope to be involved in an apprenticeship program in the future.
If your student has decided that college is their future, let us help! We will have speakers from different colleges, take college tours, and offer some ACT/SAT prep!
Member Requirements for
College & Career Participation
To be a part of the College & Career Program, each Member Family must adhere to the following:

Choose the College & Career option on the Member Family Registration Form

Be a fully vetted Aspire Member Family (all background checks passed, important docs signed, yearly fees paid)

There will be a small fee to participate in some classes

Each family will be required to cover costs of any College Tour

The College & Career Team will add you to their private Communication Group for more instructions on plugging into this program.
