NERF WARS
Students will practice marksmanship, use boxes and other materials to create obstacles and barriers, and then defend themselves in the ultimate Nerf battle!

STRATEGY
Games
Exercise your mind through logic and strategy games like chess, checkers, and mancala.

Drama
In this class the students will learn improvisation, recite fun poems, and perform short skits. We will also focus on volume, articulation, and creativity.

Music
This class will include learning about composers and instruments, music listening, and music participation through playing a mini kalimba (a melodic percussion instrument)!

From Ragtime to Rock
Explore the evolution of music in America, starting with brass bands and ending with the “British Invasion.” Students will listen to music from different eras and learn how to the music shaped and was shaped by the culture of the time.

DEBATE
Students will develop their skills in public speaking through sharing about themselves. They will learn about commanding audience attention, appropriate volume, articulation, eye contact, using their face and body to communicate, and how to be a respectful audience.

THE ARTS
Intro to Illustration
In this class students will learn various methods used in drawing such as shading, perspective, 3D shapes, and various methods of sketching with pencil and ink.

Hand Printing From Nature
Discover how to use natural materials to print on any surface, from paper and fabric to wood. Students will create original nature prints with leaves, flowers, fruits, shells, stones, and more. Projects will include hand printed stationary/cards, printed pillowcase, wrapping paper and more!

Students will use easy-to-find materials to build miniature catapults, bows and arrows, periscopes, and more.

Learn the origins and basics for some of the most amazing and versatile art forms. In this class you will learn the basics of Crochet, Knitting, Macramé, and Needle Felting.

FOREIGN STUDIES
World Changers
Learn the fascinating and true stories of God moving through missionaries who have changed the world for Jesus. We will learn how to pray for others, share our testimony, share the gospel, and be disciples who make disciples. Local mission opportunities through Mobile Missions Network will be offered.

Talkin' Tolkien
Through a mix of reading and video, students will explore the works of JRR Tolkien’s Middle Earth and its unique story. They will also study the history of Tolkien, and its influence on his story telling.

Home Ec
Through hands-on, authentic learning experiences, Students learn effective methods for shopping, sewing, childcare, clothing care, cooking, nutrition, home-care, hospitality, family and household management.

Babysitters Club Training
This course will cover several topics that all babysitters should know before accepting their first job! Infant & Toddler Care such as diapering, bottle warming, sleep safety & recognizing different behaviors. Safety procedures in the event of an emergency. Techniques to staying calm. Age appropriate activities. We will be going over First Aid & CPR. There are online programs that provide certifications. Students will earn a Babysitters Club Training Certificate at the end of the course.

EAT YOUR WAY AROUND THE USA
Come and learn about some of the fun and easy dishes that hail from various states. We will cook and learn a bit of Geography together. It doesn't matter how skilled you are in the kitchen. We will practice the skills needed and have fun doing it. Join in on some good food and interesting facts about the states in our country.

Outdoor Survival Skills
This class is designed to promote Physical Education through learning life-long activities such as camping, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, etc. There is also a focus on urban and rural survival by learning first aid, CPR, basic knot tying and, plant and animal identification, and more. These activities can build skills that can be used and enjoyed for a lifetime.
