Below are our Discovery Class options for this age group. Students do not have to stay all day, but they do have to be enrolled in a class for each class hour they are on campus.
*any additional class supply fee is charged for supplies or teacher fees (this fee covers the FULL SCHOOL YEAR)

1st HOUR (10am to 10:55am)
Sewing studio 1 - Basics
Kickstart your sewing skills and turn fabrics into projects you’ll actually want to use and show off. From basic stitches to awesome finished projects, where style meets creativity.

Prerequisite: Sewing Studio 1. Ready to go beyond the basics? Master new techniques and make projects that are practical, fun, and totally you. By the end, you’ll have pieces you can either wear, gift, or show off with pride!

Sharpen your kitchen skills while making foods you actually want to eat! In Epic Eats, you will learn how to read recipes, prep ingredients, cook safely, and experiment with flavors all while creating and tasting your own dishes.

3rd HOUR (12pm to 12:55pm)

Ready to build confidence, think on your feet, and have fun? In this class, students will explore acting through theater games, improv, short scenes, and character work. We’ll practice voice projection, body language, stage presence, the art of storytelling and teamwork, all in a supportive, encouraging environment. No experience needed, just a willingness to participate and try something new!

Fix it, tweak it! Learn essential skills, tackle real projects, and impress everyone with what you can do around the house. Gain the skills to handle real life home projects with confidence and have some fun doing it!

Fast paced, high energy, and tons of fun! In this class, students will compete in exciting one-minute challenges that test speed, teamwork, strategy, and creativity. Using simple household style materials, we’ll tackle hilarious and skill-based games that require focus, coordination, and quick thinking. Students will work individually and in teams, learning sportsmanship, problem solving, and how to stay calm under pressure, all while cheering each other on with new challenges and lots of laughs!

Ever wondered what it would be like to create art like the pros? In this class, we’ll focus on one amazing artist at a time and discover what makes their style stand out. We’ll look at their coolest pieces, learn a little about their story, and break down the techniques they used. Then it’s your turn! You’ll create your own artwork inspired by that artist’s style, adding your own creativity and personality along the way. Get ready to experiment, try new techniques, and build your skills while making art, you’ll be proud to show off!

LITTLE ROOTS Helping Hand
Instead of taking a class, we'd love to have your help for one class hour in our Saplings (3 years old), Sprouts (4 years old), or Shrubs (5 years old) classes! Just list Little Roots Helping Hand in the class hour choice on your enrollment form!

Willow friend
Instead of taking a class, we'd love for you to be a Willow Friend! Our Willows are our special needs students and sometimes they just need a little help in PE class or a friend to hang out with at lunch. Just list Willow Friend in the class hour choice on your enrollment form!
