Below are our Discovery Class options for this age group. Students do not have to stay all day, but they do have to be enrolled in a class for each class hour they are on campus.
*any additional class supply fee is charged for supplies or teacher fees (this fee covers the FULL SCHOOL YEAR)

Who & What Was?
Step into history with awesome stories, fun crafts, cool activities, and lively discussions inspired by the popular Who Was? and What Was? book series! Each session brings amazing people and events to life - you'll learn, create, and have a blast along the way!

Create your Story
This fun creative writing course introduces children to the art of storytelling. We explore the basic building blocks of storytelling. By the end of the course, young writers will be equipped to venture into the exciting world of crafting their own stories. They will write and illustrate their own book!

2nd HOUR (11am to 11:55am)
Global Adventures
In this class we will dive into rich cultures, traditions and landscapes of various countries around the world by using our five senses. From tasting traditional foods to listening to the sounds of local music, and even creating art inspired by the country’s history, Global Adventures makes learning fun and immersive.

Fun with Math
Math can be fun especially if it is edible! We will practice age appropriate math skills by playing games and using edible manipulatives such as addition with m&ms, measuring a tower of crackers with a ruler or learning the difference between a teaspoon and a tablespoon of raisins!

Move it, Shake it, lift it
Get in the game and become a playground pro! Learn how to play all the classic games every kid should know—like kickball, basketball, soccer, and 4 square. You'll have the skills and confidence to play with anyone, anytime!

Wellness warriors
Get ready to become a Wellness Warrior—someone who takes charge of their health, body, and mind! In this class, you’ll discover how to stay active, eat smart, and build mental strength. We’ll learn how to fuel up for success, and talk about ways to handle stress and stay positive. This class will leave you feeling strong, confident, and ready to take on anything!

Where Faith Grows
This engaging class helps Maples go deeper in their understanding of who God is and how to live out their faith. Through Bible exploration, group discussions, journaling, and creative activities, they will learn how to apply God’s truth in their own lives. They'll build a foundation of trust in God and grow in their relationship with Him, discovering that faith isn't just something we talk about—it's something we live out each day.
