Below are our Discovery Class options for this age group. Students do not have to stay all day, but they do have to be enrolled in a class for each class hour they are on campus.
*any additional class supply fee is charged for supplies or teacher fees (this fee covers the FULL SCHOOL YEAR)
**any supply fees are paid directly to the teacher, but any teacher fees are paid to Aspire as a part of your monthly bill.
1st HOUR (10am to 10:55am)
Drama / Performance Fun
Ready to build confidence, think on your feet, and have fun? In this class, students will explore acting through theater games, improv, short scenes, and character work. We’ll practice voice projection, body language, stage presence, the art of storytelling and teamwork, all in a supportive, encouraging environment. No experience needed, just a willingness to participate and try something new!

Deeply Rooted
Deeply Rooted is designed to help high school students move from inherited faith, “I believe because my parents believe” to personal conviction, “I believe because I know this to be true.” In a world full of competing voices and big questions, students will learn how to think critically, wrestle honestly with doubt, and discover why they believe what they believe. This class aims to equip teens to build a faith that is thoughtful, confident, and strong enough to carry into adulthood.

Build it, shape it, make it yours! Learn to use tools, design cool projects, and create pieces that are as unique as you are. Woodworking isn’t just for boys, it’s for anyone ready to get creative and make something amazing.

Sketch Lab: The Art of Pencil Drawing
Think you can do a lot with just a pencil? In this class, you’ll learn how to turn simple lines and shapes into impressive drawings. We’ll practice cool techniques like shading, creating depth, drawing realistic proportions, and making objects look 3-D. Each week includes guided practice and creative challenges to help you grow your skills and confidence. Whether you already love to draw or just want to get better, this class will help you level up your art in a relaxed and encouraging space.

Sewing Studio 1 - Basics
Kickstart your sewing skills and turn fabrics into projects you’ll actually want to use and show off. From basic stitches to awesome finished projects, where style meets creativity.

Epic Eats
Sharpen your kitchen skills while making foods you actually want to eat! In Foodie Fun, you will learn how to read recipes, prep ingredients, cook safely, and experiment with flavors all while creating and tasting your own dishes.

Prerequisite: Sewing Studio 1. Ready to go beyond the basics? Master new techniques and make projects that are practical, fun, and totally you. By the end, you’ll have pieces you can either wear, gift, or show off with pride!

You can choose one of the below options to volunteer during any class hour. Volunteer choices are subject to approval!
LITTLE ROOTS Helping Hand
Instead of taking a class, we'd love to have your help for one class hour in our Saplings (3 years old), Sprouts (4 years old), or Shrubs (5 years old) classes! Just list Little Roots Helping Hand in the class hour choice on your enrollment form!

Willow friend
Instead of taking a class, we'd love for you to be a Willow Friend! Our Willows are our special needs students and sometimes they just need a little help in PE class or a friend to hang out with at lunch. Just list Willow Friend in the class hour choice on your enrollment form!
