Below are our Discovery Class options for this age group. Students do not have to stay all day, but they do have to be enrolled in a class for each class hour they are on campus.
*any additional class supply fee is charged for supplies or teacher fees (this fee covers the FULL SCHOOL YEAR)
**any supply fees are paid directly to the teacher, but any teacher fees are paid to Aspire as a part of your monthly bill.
1st HOUR (10am to 10:55am)
Drama
Explore your drama skills through acting and performing short plays with a performance at both showcases. Parents will be responsible for costumes. Students gain confidence in their stage presence and teambuilding.

Students will play a variety of board games, participate in active group games like relay races and capture the flag, and enjoy occasional Wii and arcade play. This class focuses on teamwork, cooperation, problem-solving, and positive sportsmanship in a fun, relaxed environment.

Knitting & Basic Crochet
Discover the timeless skill of textile art in this class! With both knitting and crochet both taught you are sure to find a new skill you enjoy. This is a beginner course that teachers the fundamental skills, not advanced techniques making this a great way to dip your toes in yarn art.

Learn to create your own website from scratch using real web development tools. Students will learn HTML (the structure of web pages), CSS (how pages look), and a little JavaScript (how pages respond to clicks and inputs). By the end of the semester, each student will have built and published their own personal website they can share with family and friends.

AI FOR THE real world
AI is everywhere—but what actually is it? In this class, students will learn how AI tools really work, what they're good at, and where they fall short. We'll use real AI tools hands-on and learn to think critically about when to trust them and when to verify. The goal isn't to fear AI or hype it, but to understand it well enough to use it wisely.
